SEC releases analysis on derivative rule proposal

The Securities and Exchange Commission has published economic analysis related to its proposed rule on fund use of derivatives. The analysis, performed by the Division of Economic and Risk Analysis, addresses calls for a risk-adjusted approach to limits on derivative use and for changes to asset-segregation requirements.
