Advisors not bringing up ESG investing

Financial advisors need to do a better job bringing up environmental, social and governance investing with their clients, according to a new study by Allianz Global Investors. In the study, just 14% of 1,061 investors with at least $100,000 in investable assets had discussed ESG with their advisors. Of those, 61% initiated the conversation, rather than their advisor bringing it up. Read the original story from Barron's.
