Some funds inflows improve in February

Some mutual funds experienced a recovery in inflows in February after difficult month in January, according to Citi analyst William Katz and his team. February trends were mixed but improved month over month, Katz and his team said. Active trends were “much improved,” and passive continues to gain market share, although equity exchange-traded funds were hit with some hefty outflows.
