Context key in cyberthreat board discussions

Security executives need to translate complex cybersecurity issues into a business context when in discussions with the board of directors, according to Jerry Archer, chief security officer at Sallie Mae. When talking with Sallie Mae's board about cybersecurity threats, Archer reviews key business risks identified by his team. “This gives the board comfort and we’ve established context,” he said.
