Bernanke to chair new PIMCO global advisory board

PIMCO announced Monday that former Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke will chair a new Global Advisory Board. The board also will include Gordon Brown, former U.K. prime minister and former chancellor of the exchequer; Jean-Claude Trichet, former European Central Bank president; Ng Kok Song, former CIO of the Government of Singapore Investment Corp.; and Anne-Marie Slaughter, president and CEO of New America Foundation and former director of policy planning for the U.S. State Department.
