Morrison & Foerster has hired Michael Birnbaum has joined its Securities Litigation, Enforcement and White-Collar Defense Practice Group (SLEW) as a partner in New York. He joins from the Securities and Exchange Commission, where he worked for 11 years, most recently as senior trial counsel. He previously spent eight years in private practice.
