By Investment Company Institute

The Investment Company Institute has named Susan Olson as its general counsel, succeeding David Blass, who left ICI earlier this year. Olson has served as chief counsel of ICI Global since 2014, after joining ICI as senior counsel, international affairs in 2007. Before that, she served for 10 years in various roles at the Securities and Exchange Commission. “Susan Olson is an excellent choice for ICI’s general counsel, and we look forward to working with her, as appropriate, on issues affecting fund directors,” Independent Directors Council Managing Director Amy Lancellotta told FBV in an emailed statement.
