Franklin Resources' assets plunge

Franklin Resources' total assets declined by nearly $36 billion in January. The company, which operates Franklin Templeton mutual funds, reported assets of $728.1 billion at the end of January, down 4.7% from the end of December and down 17% from January 2015.
