Chipotle shareholder calls for independent board chair

Key shareholder Amalgamated Bank is demanding that fast-casual chain Chipotle appoint an independent board chairman to help it recover from a food safety crisis that has devastated its bottom line. The goal is for Chipotle's shareholders be able to vote on it when they meet next May.
