BNY Mellon adds to its board

BNY Mellon shareholders elected Steven Black as a director, effective immediately, bumping the board up to 12 members. Black, 65, has been co-CEO of private equity firm Bregal Investments since September 2012 and previously was vice chairman of JP Morgan Chase & Co. He also serves on the Nasdaq board.
