From the Editor...

Fund Board Views starts its year-end break today, which means we won't be publishing for the rest of 2018 in order to enjoy the holiday season and recharge our batteries a bit. We'll return to our normal publishing schedule in the New Year.

This has a been an exciting and productive year for Fund Board Views, our third full calendar year in business. We have brought our readers news and insight on fund governance and fund board happenings, and we launched two new benefits for subscribers:

  • FBV Monthly, launched in September, gives readers a new way to read our stories; it provides an easy-to-access one-stop shop for all of the month's stories, and we hope you're finding it useful.
  • And just last week, we launched an e-book that contains all of the Viewpoints articles we've published since we launched in fall 2015. Again, this is meant to be a resource for readers and is chock full of great information for independent fund directors. We're planning to publish this e-book annually, so please give us feedback if you've got any so we can make it even better.

In signing off for 2018, we wish you a lovely holiday season filled with love, family, friends, and relaxation. We're looking forward to re-connecting in 2019 and kicking off what we hope will be another great year.

For now,

Hillary Jackson, founding editor
