WSJ survey: Fees are paramount

Respondents to a Wall Street Journal survey asking readers about their investment style and satisfaction overwhelmingly said that fees matter. Of the more than 800 responses from readers across the country and as far as Singapore and Slovenia, nearly 80% said their investment fees are 1% or less.
