Blockchain ETFs begin trading with no reference to 'blockchain'

Two blockchain exchange-traded funds started trading today, but shortly before listing, the Securities and Exchange Commission encouraged Amplify Investments and Reality Shares Inc., the firms behind them, to drop “blockchain” from their names. Therefore, the first ETFs to track companies involved in the digital technology that underpins cryptocurrency transactions are launching as the Amplify Transformational Data Sharing ETF and the Reality Shares Nasdaq NexGen Economy ETF.
