VW told to scrap governance structure

Investors and governance experts have told Volkswagen it needs to scrap its complex corporate governance structure in the wake of the emissions scandal that continues to hurt the carmaker's share price. They called for a radical overhaul that would involve the families, state government and sovereign wealth fund that are VW's biggest shareholders all giving up seats on its board.
