SEC's Clayton expected to name Enforcement chiefs

Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Jay Clayton is expected to tap former Sullivan & Cromwell colleague Steven Peikin to serve as the commission’s co-director of enforcement. He also is expected to name Stephanie Avakian, the agency’s acting enforcement director, as co-director with Peikin. The hiring decisions are not final but could be announced as soon as this week.
