The board of Prudential Global Investment Management's retail mutual funds has added former chief economist for the Investment Company Institute Brian Reid as an independent director. Reid was chief economist for the ICI from 2005 to 2017, when he retired. Prior to that, he was a senior economist and director of industry and financial analysis; he was a staff economist at the Federal Reserve Board before joining ICI. Read the announcement from PGIM.
