Ariel's John Rogers nominated to New York Times board

The New York Times Company Board of Directors has nominated Ariel Investments Founder John Rogers for election as a director at its 2018 annual meeting of stockholders on April 19. Board Chairman Arthur Sulzberger described Rogers as an accomplished investor, business leader, and dedicated philanthropist. Rogers, 59, is chairman, CEO and CIO of Ariel Investments, as well as a director at Exelon Corporation and McDonald’s Corporation. Read the announcement from The New York Times Company.
