SEC readies PCAOB nominees

The Securities and Exchange Commission is preparing to advance a slate of nominees to join the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board. William Duhnke, director of the Senate Rules Committee and aide to Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Ala.), is part of that group and said to be favored to lead the regulator. The PCAOB seats are among the most sought-after roles in financial regulation.
